Where to find a Great Sunday Roast in Edinburgh
With Winter in full swing, a.k.a. colder days and darker nights, the one thing I’ve been craving every weekend is a great Sunday roast. If you’re the same, these are three spots that should be on your radar:
Angels Share Hotel
The Angels Share Hotel may not be somewhere you’d typically expect to find a banging Sunday roast. However, I can guarantee you they know what they’re doing. The roast between two people is beautifully displayed on a board and each element is cooked to perfection. With that being said, it is worth noting that they only have roast beef!
The Botanist
Picture this: you’ve just finished a shopping spree at the St James Quarter and you’re ready for a delicious meal nearby. Head over to The Botanist which is kitted out with plant lovers in mind. They have so many Sunday roast options to choose and not only is the food incredible, it’s also the perfect spot for people-watching.
El Jefe’s
If you’re not fussed about a traditional Sunday roast, this one may be for you. El Jefe’s has taken a Sunday roast and added its own Mexican twist to it. There are three meat options to choose from that all come with a set list of sides such as creamed corn and pico de gallo — what’s not to love?
