The Watershed on the Canal
I’m all for unusual and unique spots to dine at so I was pleasantly surprised after stumbling upon this gem last year. Just up from fountain park, if you find yourself having a stroll along the union canal near the Leamington Bridge, you too will likely pass The Watershed on the Canal.
It’s a hard one to miss with their bright blue exterior. If that’s not enough you’ll also be able to spot them by their wonderful flower arrangement on top of the boat and the few small tables they keep outside on the path.
Their main focus is on selling delicious coffee but you will also find other beverages, including a whole range of smoothies, alongside an array of sweet treats and breakfast items. I ended up ordering a latte.
Note: for those of you who like your coffee a bit sweeter, they have a range of ‘Monin’ syrups which you can add to your chosen drink!
The staff on my visit were super friendly, the drink didn’t take too long considering there was a humungous queue and the coffee was great. It’s maybe not somewhere I’d go out of my way to visit but if you are in the area or walking along the canal it’s a fun little spot to try for yourself.
