Chulo’s Cookies
If you’re a fan of thick, stuffed cookies then you’re going to want to head along to one of the Chulo’s Cookies branches for a sweet treat.
Pre-warning: If you don’t have a sweet tooth and don’t like rich desserts then you may want to click off now…
If you’re not able to get down to one of their shops (there’s one in both Glasgow and Edinburgh!), then you’ll find them at different markets throughout the year or you can even order them online for a postal delivery.
I went along to their Edinburgh shop and picked out a selection of different stuffed cookies from the display. They change up the flavours often so if you see one you like on their social media pages be sure to head down fast.
I picked up 6 different cookies:
– Gingerbread
– Biscoff
– Kinder
– Mint
– Red Velvet
– Milky Way
If there’s one thing that Chulo’s know how to do, it’s bake a bloody delicious cookie. All of the flavours I’ve tried so far have been great but if you want to level them up then I recommend popping them in the microwave for a couple of seconds to let the filling get warm and gooey.
These make such a nice treat for yourself (of course you don’t need to buy 6 at one time!) and would also be a great gift to a fellow cookie lover.
